Resumes
An outstanding resume is the single most important document you need for your job search. Your resume won't get you a job but as the only source of information a prospective employer has about you, an outstanding resume can convince the hiring manager or recruiter to call you in for an interview.
Your resume should highlight experiences and skills that answer the question "Why should I hire you?" Resumes that focus on accomplishments you achieved in previous positions and relate to the specific job you want can do this. You can further strengthen your resume by tailoring it to the specific job requirements of the position.
A bad resume is the fastest way to be dropped out of contention for a position. Spelling errors, formatting problems, lack of focus, and lack of accomplishments decrease your chances of being competitive. To compete, your resume must be flawless and it must tell the employer what you have to offer.
